How to choose a folding mobility scooter

Portability. Both the T350 and T550 fold down to a compact size for storage and transport, and their batteries detach quickly so the scooter is lighter to lift. Learn how to fold and unfold a folding mobility scooter.

Range. Each 25.9V 10.4Ah lithium battery gives up to 15 km. The T550 has a storage compartment for a spare battery, extending range to 30 km. Our tips on getting more range from your battery help on longer days out.

Comfort and control. Both models have adjustable armrests and an adjustable tiller, electromagnetic brakes and puncture-proof solid tyres. The T350 adds front and rear lights and rear suspension.

Can I try a mobility scooter before I buy?

Yes. Free test drives can be arranged through our dealers in New South Wales, Canberra, Victoria and Queensland. Contact us to book a demo, or email contact@elfigo.au if you live elsewhere in Australia.

Can I take a folding mobility scooter on a plane?

The T350 and T550 batteries are rated 240Wh. To bring one on board you need to contact your airline in advance and tell them you are travelling with a mobility aid; the airline decides whether to approve it. Read more in our guide: is a foldable mobility scooter suitable for air travel?

Can mobility scooters be used in the rain?

Our scooters are not waterproof. Avoid heavy rain and never wash them with running water; light drizzle for a short time is acceptable. See using mobility scooters in all weather.

Can I use NDIS or aged care funding?

We are not NDIS approved, but we are happy to work with aged care providers and NDIS care providers on funding for your purchase. Contact us and we can help with the details they need.

Do you deliver across Australia?

Shipping is free to major cities in Australia. If you live near one of our sales agents and the agent has stock, delivery can be within 1–2 days; otherwise we ship from our HQ, which takes 7–14 days.
