The Ultra-Lite Carbon BW is the big-wheel version of our carbon fibre folding power wheelchair, with 8-inch front and 12-inch rear solid wheels, larger than those on the original Ultra-Lite Carbon. It weighs 13.3 kg without battery, supports up to 136 kg and runs on UN 38.3 certified lithium batteries. Free test drives are available through our dealers in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The Ultra-Lite Carbon BW is one of the lightest folding electric wheelchairs available, weighing just 13.3 kg without battery. Its carbon fibre frame is rust-proof, strong and light, and the glossy black finish gives this motorised wheelchair a sleek look most wheelchairs lack.
It folds in 3 simple steps like a manual wheelchair, so it is easy to lift into the car boot and take wherever you go.
The quick-release battery can be taken on board as carry-on luggage when you fly (subject to airline approval). The 6AH battery gives up to 10 km of travel, and the 10AH upgrade gives up to 15 km.
Batteries charge off the chair, so you can leave the wheelchair in the car and charge the battery inside. With a spare battery, you can go out on one while the other charges.
The Ultra-Lite Carbon BW is an easy-to-drive motorised wheelchair that brakes fully on slopes. To push it by hand, move the brake levers on the motors to the "neutral" position. Compared with the Ultra-Lite Carbon (11.7 kg), the BW has larger front and rear wheels.
An OPTIONAL Attendant Controller lets a carer drive the chair from behind with full control of speed and direction, making tight spaces and outdoor trips easier and safer for both rider and carer.
