The Ultra-Lite Carbon is a TGA registered folding power wheelchair that weighs just 11.7 kg without battery, light enough for most Australians to lift into a car boot on their own. Its carbon fibre frame supports up to 136 kg, and the 10AH battery option gives up to 15 km per charge for full days at the shops, the clinic or with family. Built on a carbon fibre frame, the Ultra-Lite Carbon is one of the lightest folding electric wheelchairs you can buy, at only 11.7 kg without battery. Carbon fibre will not rust, stays strong and keeps the weight down, and the glossy black finish makes this motorised wheelchair look far smarter than a typical hospital-style chair.

Folding takes 3 simple steps, just like a manual wheelchair, so it is quick to pack into the car boot for appointments, shopping or visiting family.

The quick-release battery comes off without tools and can go on board as carry-on luggage when you fly (subject to airline approval). The standard 6AH battery gives up to 10 km of travel, or 20 km with a second battery. Choose the 10AH battery for up to 15 km per charge, or 30 km with two.

Batteries charge off the chair, so the wheelchair can stay in the car while the battery charges inside the house. With two batteries, you can head out on one while the other is charging.

This power wheelchair is easy to drive and brakes fully on slopes. To push it by hand, simply move the brake levers on the motors to the "neutral" position.

An OPTIONAL Attendant Controller lets a carer or family member drive the chair from behind, with full control of speed and direction. It makes tight spaces, busy footpaths and outdoor trips easier and safer, giving both the rider and the carer peace of mind.
